English/2013 Speed trip(Eastern Europe+Taiwan)

The mad trip as playing the hooky.(In Bratislava, Slovakia)

On getting off at UFO bridge, at first, I had arrived at the old city of Bratislava.

The atmosphere of the old city was conserved as same as 8 months ago.

If there was a difference, It would be not steamy hot against September! :)

It was so cool in the late morning of Bratislava.

I postponed appreciating the old city and was finding the hostel, but it wasn't for me because of the poor sense of direction.

I was looking into the map, but, on this time, a citizen asked me what you need a hand.

I told him I'm OK but, in a moment, I asked him the way to the hostel.

He told me the way to the hostel kindly and in detail.

The kind characters of citizens of Bratislava were conserved. no, they became kinder than the time 8 months ago.

So, I had founded the Hostel Blues, which is introduced on the Lonely Planet.

I didn't reserve there but there was vacated bed because it wasn't the peak season.

After learning about some rules of the accommodation, My room was assigned.

As I got a room, I put down my baggage and went to the inner bar and drank the a bit alcoholic beverage then chatted by the Kakaotalk while I rested in the room. even I managed resting, it was 1 o'clock.

After the rest, I went to the Mcdonald to eat a lunch.

There was the menu 'O-fish' which not exist in Korea.

After finishing the lunch, I went to the old city at first. I approached the 'Cheating Man'.

Tourists huddled around there and enjoyed photographing.

As I visited there once again, I could not help photographing. :)

The seeing people took pictures of me.

Indeed, I had become an entertainer in also Bratislava! V

 However, I felt what empty.

I forgot taking the charger for cellphone and the city map. and I thought that it would get hotter.

I went back to the hostel and took the city map and charger for cellphone and took off the hood shirt.

And I rushed to the 'Cheating Man' again.

The old city of Bratislava was beautiful under the blue sky.

Like this, I awkwardly danced the horse of the Gangnam Style.

 Oppan Gangnam Style!!

On the way, I dropped by the central square.

Last year, the first night, there was a concert of the traditional dance.

I was so pleased and excited on that time.

At a moment, I requested local girls those were sitting on the fountain take me pictures of me.

 Bravo, Bratislava!!

And I looked over the old city.

Then, I had approached St. Martin cathedral church.

On the bench under the stairs, 3 people were drawing the St. Martin.

I requested them take pictures of me.

I posed the Gangnam Style at the St. Martin too.

 Oppan Gangnam Style!!

Then I climbed the trail of Bratislava castle as Eva who is the staff of the Blues said.

When I climbed, I got wet on my forehead.

Indeed, I thought that I took off the hood shirt.

As I kept climbing, there was the iron gate, 2 policemen and a manager were guarding at the gate.

The entrance fee was free. =)

Under the blue sky, the Bratislava castle was big and beautiful.

I felt as if I visited there in the Middle Ages by the time machine.

Keeping going into, there was a observatory at the right side.

Then, my mad spirit was appeared once again.

Can you see? This is Bratislava which represents Slovakia!!

Under the UFO bridge, the Danube river was flowing from Germany.

Keeping going along the trail, a ground was appeared.

 The space was so comfortable.

There was proper place elders to rest or couples to enjoy having a date.

And also fit to visit with children.

The old city seeing at the observatory was pretty and seemed conserved as the Middle era.

The trail to down of Bratislava castle was also artistic.

By the way, what is the Czech flag at the Bratislava castle??

The trail of the castle was connected to the old city.

I went to the old city again.

Oooo!! There was also Brownie in Bratislava!!! =)

(Brownie: A famous dog doll who appeared the most Korean gag program 'Gag Concert')

I felt a bit tired and went to the Mccafe and took a rest with a cup of espresso.

And I chatted with my friends after turned on the wi-fi.

Passing the hostel, I was gonna go to the another square.

But I wasn't sure where I should go. so I looked into the map.

On the time, a woman who was standing and listening the music approached me and asked me what my needs is such as the man who asked me in the morning.

 I gave her a Korean coin \ 500 as I thanked her. :)

Cuz Korean coins are also high in scarcity.

As she said, there was another way turning the way.

The street was the way trams plying and pubs and diverse stores on both sides.

I didn't remember the street's name but under the sunset, there looked like villages in the western of the America.

And I turned to city park.

 There was no attraction.

Just fit place to exercise or take a walk.

I thought it was not proper as the attraction.

I thought I had finished going in a circle around Bratislava except the Devin castle.

Cuz I had visited there with a Chinese girl last year.

After back to the hostel and rested, I went to the restaurant 'Slovak Pub' which Eva recommended.

I ordered 'Brynzove Halusky'(The traditional food is made by mixed mashed potato and cheese) and the Sprite.

When I appreciated the Brinzove Haluski at first, the taste was flavor but the more I ate, the more greasy I got. If there wasn't carbonated beverage or wine or beer, I wouldn't eat this food. :(

But the cheap price was not so bad. :)

After finished the dinner, I went to the center of city to photograph night scenes.

At each pub of the center of city, the soccer game was going in air. on this day, there was a final game of Europa 'Chelsea VS Benfica'. if I had made friends at here, I would have watched the game and got drunken... :( (No, I should have gone into the pub and supported a team with other people. I've come here for the reason?)

After finishing appreciating night scenes, I went back to my accommodation in the midnight.

I released my stress while took a shower and went to bed.

I getta leave for Hungary for the first in my life tomorrow!

I was awake early and washed in short and ate a breakfast at the inner bar in short.

After checked out, I went to the blue cathedral church.

Not only the house but also even the benches were blue.

In the church, there was so calm and quiet cuz there wasn't a chapel.

After went out of from the church and I went along a way, I gotta arrive at small park.

Kids were playing about in the park.

I like kids so much! =)

So I wanted to take photos of me with the kids, I requested their mom politely but I was refused. :(

Then I went to an university. let me be a Slovak student today! :)

Indeed, European universities were distributed as each college not combined with diverse colleges such as Korea. I was gonna audit a Slovak class if I had more time. :]

After leaving the university then going into the center of city and bought some souvenirs, I went to the central station to leave for Budapest. there was no naughty kid cuz there was so crowded.

And I bought the ticket at the counter but there was presented no any time on the ticket. ah!! it was the opened ticket!! lol

I was gonna board the train at 1:54 P.M. because I didn't arrive at the time but the train which was gonna leave at 11:54 A.M. were delayed about 10 minutes. fortunately, I could board the train at 11:54 A.M.

Good bye, Bratislava~! I was glad to see you once again!
